YAIR MORAD
Dr. Yair Morad is a professor of Ophthalmology in the Tel Aviv University and the Head of the Shamir Medical Center Pediatric Ophthalmology Service.
He is the co-Chair of the scientific committee of the World Society of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus (WSPOS).
Dr. Morad got his medical degree from the Technion University in Haifa, Israel and joined the Israel Defense Forces as a young doctor. His last position in the IDF was the Head of the Israel Defense Forces Medical Research Institute. After completing his residency, he did his fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology at the Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto.
Dr. Morad is the former Head the Israel School of Orthoptics and the Israel Society for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus.
He is Married to Yafa, and a proud father and grandfather.
